Problem: Chessington had a maintenance request for their 'Vampire Ride' that naturally had to comply with health & safety regulations. They needed to retrieve the vampire train along a curved monorail into the repair and service area. The train weighed 15 tonnes.

Solution: Lifting & Access designed, manufactured and installed a 'Health & Safety' certified roller and winch system. It was engineered so that if the 'Vampire Ride' broke down it could be winched back to the repair bay for service requirements. The design, manufacture and installation of this bespoke solution took only 3 months.
